CCPS Appoints Director of System and Instructional Performance

Calvert County Public Schools’ (CCPS) Board of Education (BOE) approved the appointment of Director of System and Instructional Performance at the October 10 meeting.

Mr. McComb has been the Supervisor of Secondary Social Studies since July 2019. Before this role, he was the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, an Assistant Principal at both the high school and middle school levels, and a High School Social Studies Teacher at Calvert High School. Additionally, he has taken on roles as a coach and sponsor. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education from Towson University and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College. His other responsibilities include serving as Chair of the Maryland Social Studies Advisory Council, President of the Maryland Council for Social Studies, and Chair of the CCPS District Equity Leadership Team, among others.
